Dentistry
We promote dental health and believe that prevention is better than having to treat a condition after it has occurred. This can be achieved through feeding various dental chews and bones, manually brushing teeth with pet friendly tooth brushes and pastes.
Once plaque has calcified and developed into calculus, it is then important that we perform a descale and polish on your pet, much like you would receive from your dental hygienist. In the event the sub-gingival calculus.builds up, gingivitis will develop and the end result is gum recession and potentially multiple teeth extractions.
Often dental patients are older pets, so having up to date equipment is important to allow us to conduct surgery in an efficient manner, thereby reducing anaesthetic risk.

Veterinary imaging
Our patients cannot speak for themselves, so our staff relies on diagnostic imaging as they diagnose and treat illness in animals. The hospital is equipped with the most cutting-edge imaging technologies, so you can rest assured that your animal will receive the right tests and fast results.
Digital radiography to study heart or lung disease, gastrointestinal upset, urinary problems, trauma or abdominal pain.
The recent advances in technology have made it possible for radiograph images to be stored digitally on computers. There are many advantages to storing radiographs on computers. One of the most important is the ability to rapidly and economically transmit copies of the images to specialists or other clinics.
Ultrasound
Ultrasonography is the second most commonly used imaging procedure in veterinary practices. Ultrasound is a non invasive and safe technique that allows us to look inside your pet’s body and helps us assess the internal structure of bodily organs. Although ultrasound can be used to evaluate most soft tissues, the heart and abdominal organs are the most frequently scanned in veterinary clinics. Ultrasonic imaging of the heart is termed echocardiography. The structure and function of the heart and its valves can be evaluated by this procedure.

Out team appropriately apply telemedicine to enhance animal care by facilitating communication, diagnostics, treatments, client education, scheduling, and other tasks.

Home visits
House calls offer many conveniences that are sometimes very much needed by our clients. One of the biggest advantages to your pet is overcoming the fear and trauma that many animals experience when taken from their home to a veterinary hospital.
By examining your pet in its own environment, where it is more secure (and hopefully less aggressive), we can better evaluate behavior and conditions which may be caused or aggravated by vet clinic environment. In addition, there is a lower risk of being exposed to diseases that may be floating around in a hospital waiting room. This is especially important for very young or very old pets that do not have good immunity and, for pets with weakened immune systems.
In addition to the benefits for your pet, a house call may make more sense for many owners. Since you won't have to gather up your pets, drive to the clinic, and wait to see the veterinarian and drive back home, there is less time wasted for you.
